Treating Opioid and Alcohol Use Disorders: Clinical Skills-Building Workshops for Front Line Clinicians.

This high-impact workshop day is designed for clinicians and trainees who have faced and will face the challenge of helping patients with substance use disorders. Three workshops are offered, including:

  1. The ASAM Treatment of Opioid Disorder Course: Focus on Buprenorphine, which includes waiver qualifying requirements
  2. Naltrexone in the Treatment for Alcohol and Opioid Use Disorders
  3. Buprenorphine 2.0: I Have My X-DEA, So Now What?

Designation: The American Society of Addiction Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 16.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

*The ASAM Treatment of Opioid Use Disorder Course is also being offered on Saturday morning, Sept. 29 but is accredited separately from the rest of the WISAM conference.  Separate registration is required for each of Saturday's workshop options.
